Second semester begins and Mangum is all about learning. Here Mr. Dixon's class does a team math activity. You can tell they are having fun with their learning. Friends always help each other to understand a concept or complete a task. Great work guys! |

Mangum celebrated Red Ribbon Week, October 21 through the 26. There were a variety of activities throughout the week including hands off drugs banner day, spirit clothes day and the most fun the character trait pumpkin carving. Each pumpkin was designed with a character trait in mind. Students remembered our troops, our United States independence, and even special interests like karate. Courage, endurance, respect and many other traits were highlighted. Judges from in and outside the school came to judge the most creative and most unusual entries.
